Disciples of Jesus are blessed in this life–not just heaven–despite physical suffering and persecution.

Imagine that all you ever wanted was a baby–and that, when God finally answered your prayer, you gave him up? What could motivate somebody to do such a thing? What motivated GOD to do that for you?
God speaks to us a Word of Law that convicts us of our sins and a Word of Gospel that gives us joyful forgiveness in Jesus’ name.

Zephaniah lived in the 7th century B.C. and yet foresaw the coming of Christ and the end of the world. How do you find joy when you’re on the brink of destruction and devastation?
