Youth ministry at Epiphany is for youth in 6-12 grades, and our goal is that the youth at Epiphany will know Jesus Christ as their Savior. We aim to nurture the faith of our youth and to connect them with their families, caring adults, other youth, and the congregation as a whole. Parents are the primary influence on the faith of their children. Therefore, Epiphany’s youth ministry strives to partner with parents to empower and equip them to nurture faith in their homes.

Each week we offer Bible study classes for middle school and high school students on Sundays at 9:30 in the Youth Room. Weekly confirmation classes are also available for middle school students during the school year. In addition, we have monthly youth events and various trips and retreats throughout the year.

Questions regarding the youth ministry and upcoming events can be directed to Karin Meissner, our Youth Ministry Director, at youth@epiphanylc.org.

ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPCOMING EVENTS

VBS Youth Lunch & Games – June 13, 12-1:30 pm

We will have lunch in the youth room for all youth helping with VBS on Tuesday, June 13. After lunch we will play some of our favorite games from youth group this year! If you are helping with VBS, please plan to stay a little later that day and join us.

4th of July Fireworks Fundraiser – July 4, 8:30-10 pm

The town of Castle Rock will be setting off their fireworks from the butte across the street from Epiphany. We will be providing fireworks parking (for a fee) and selling concessions and glow sticks! We will need help ahead of time to make signs and help spread the word (in your neighborhoods, on NextDoor, etc.). We will also need help that evening holding signs, directing traffic, and selling. If you can help with any of those things, please let Karin know.

Summer Calendar

Our summer youth calendar is here! You can download it here, and it is posted at church. Please take a few minutes to put these dates on your calendar so that you can plan to join us this summer.

Summer Bible Study

This summer, we are doing a take-home study that you can do as a family. Each lesson will include a weekly Instagram challenge so that we can see what everyone is learning! You should have received your materials in the mail – if not, please let Karin know.
